i felt like writing a few of these things down:

Movies that made me cry like a baby in no particular order:

1. Cars. 
    Everyone always laughs at me for this. but that moment when McQueen goes back and pushes the king across the finish line! amazing
2. My Girl
   This was on TV the other day, and i started watching it just because it was on. AND I SOBBED LIKE I’VE NEVER SOBBED BEFORE
   it was kind of awkward when the people i live with came in and i was just sitting there acting like i was normal
3. The Vow
   I watched this last night. wow. but I actually cried the most when the she asked her mother why she stayed. and at the end :)
4. My Sister’s Keeper 
   Sure, I cried more when i read the book. it actually took a lot longer than it should have for me to read purely because you cannot read when your eyes start leaking like that. but the movie still gets to me every time. damn you jodi picoult and your heart wrentching stories
5. A Walk To Remember
   No tear jerker list would be complete without a Nicholas Sparks, and to me, this is the original. I have never actually read the novel, but this movie. oh my gosh. i always forget how much this movie makes me cry until i realise I can’t see the TV. and they’re the best kind of tear jerkers. where it’s not one moment that makes you lose it-it’s the build up. probably from the moment she tells him she has cancer right until the end the tears just slowly stream. probably peaking at the moment when he talks to his mum, and when he comes back to talk to her dad. 
   I’m trying hard not to cry now just thinking about it…
6. Bridge To Terabithia
    I had to be convinced to see this movie. my mother told me I’d like it. I rolled her eyes at her attempt to get to watch another childrens movie. 
   I was so glad I did. It think I just sat there and actually watched the credits all the way to the end. just sat there. crying. unable to move. i kept thinking ‘no it’s okay. they’ll find her further down the river. right? right?’
   but no. :’(
7. Beaches
    This was one of my favourite movies growing up. My mother actually hid the VHS tape we had taped from the TV after me and my sister tried to watch it for the third time in a day. and I didn’t always cry then. but when they pack up the house and are driving away…
   that’s always what I imagine in my head if i’m crying and dramatically looking out of a window :)
8. Titanic
    Always. When the violinist gives up and starts playing ‘Nearer My God To Thee’. Tears flowing faster than Leo sunk to the bottom.
9. Up
   Another unexpected one for me. but this one has you crying within the first few minutes, which made me vulnerable to all the little bits throughout. 
10. Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants
     I honestly don’t even remember why I cried. Probably when they all forgave each other and bonded. but i remember crying. a lot.
    WAIT! It was Bridget. Bridget’s storyline about her mother. 
11. PS I Love You
     Even though I didn’t enjoy the movie, this story line is one that not even hilary swank can ruin. 
12. The Last Song
     As much as I hate to admit it, but Nicholas Sparks does it again. when she plays, and pretty much from the moment you find out her dad is dying. so. many. feels.
